Pin trading

People trade pins all the time and everywhere at World Finals. New pins are made every year, with a huge range of subjects and designs. You might find animals, objects, imaginary or cartoon characters used to showcase a region or a problem. You can guarantee they are fun and creative!

Why trade pins?

You might feel shy about talking to others at such a big gathering... but if you want a particular pin from a particular association, it's easy to strike up a conversation! Youngsters and adults alike enjoy meeting to trade pins - it's a serious pursuit, yet heaps of fun!

Materials

Odyssey of the Mind participants have hardly any money and very poor resources to work with. Luckily they are rich in the most important resource - imagination! Look here for inspiration, how would you use unusual materials to great effect?
